We hope you will sign up for our new Cider Club, shipping to nearly 40 states across the county and available for pickup at participating locations. The Cider Club is a fun way to make sure your New York Cider Company very dry hard cider is always on the way! It’s also the perfect gift for the cider lover in your life. Here’s what makes membership so special:

  • Receive three of our favorite small-batch, rare, “Members Only,” experimental, or otherwise interesting New York Cider Company wild and dry hard ciders each winter, spring, summer, and fall. Your quarterly charge will be $50 to $75 at shipment. (Tax and shipping not included.)

  • Become a New York Cider Company “In-cider.” Enjoy our quarterly newsletter about the ciders in each release and food to pair with them, plus a behind-the-scenes view of life at New York Cider Company.  

  • Receive discounts on all cider purchases; invitations to exclusive cider events and online tastings; chances to win complementary cider; and a free gift for joining the club.

  • Early in the Coronavirus scare, we announced that New York Cider Company would be picking up the tab for shipping costs on orders of 6 bottles or more. We figured it would make people’s quarantine a bit more bearable, and we also figured — correctly — that it would help us sell good cider that we were having trouble getting to market (as a result of the pandemic). For now, we are still offering everyone this benefit. (And if you live in the New York City or Ithaca area, you may have the opportunity to avoid shipping charges entirely, by picking up your club release at local farmers markets or at the cidery itself.)

    * With each quarterly club release, you have the opportunity to add additional cider bottles to your club shipment. This will this enable you to get larger quantities of cider when club shipments go out, and you will be able to avail yourself of the aforementioned free shipping offer on 6 bottles or more!

Winter, spring, summer, and fall expect a shipment of three 750 ml New York Cider Company artisanal ciders hand-picked from our growing cider archive. These will include some of our most popular blends, as well as rare “Members Only” cider releases. Generally, members are among the first —if not the first — people to taste our various ciders.

You’ll be able to read about each of the ciders you receive in our In-Cider newsletter to Club Members, posted online (or printed, if you prefer) with each quarterly release.

We’ll keep you posted on what’s happening at New York Cider Company, located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Cider makers Steve Daughhetee and Joseph Steuer will tell you about discovering secret wild apple trees in local hedgerows; rescuing ancient, overgrown apple trees; employing traditional cider-making techniques—including wild fermentation and bottle conditioning—to create award-winning ciders; getting pickup trucks loaded with hand-picked apples out of muddy ditches; pairing and cooking with hard cider; and anything else that comes to their minds!

Don’t worry about “…while supplies last!”

We are a small company that makes a limited amount of its very dry artisanal ciders each season. Unfortunately, ciders often sell out before many of our customers get the chance to try them. We cannot guarantee Cider Club Members will be able to try every one of our ciders in their quarterly shipments. But we can make sure you are among the first to be tipped off about our new releases—giving you a jump on ordering them before we run dry.

Hard as it is for us to imagine, not everyone finishes a bottle of cider in one sitting. That’s why we are including a “champagne stopper” with membership. It clicks onto bottles easily and will keep the cider bubbly for days.

Quarterly raffles for Club Members.

Each quarter, we will choose one Cider Club Member at random to receive one complimentary bottle of New York Cider Company cider.

Special invitations.

As a member, you will be invited to special Cider Club events, such as barrel tastings at the cidery, new cider release parties, tours through ancient rescued orchards, food pairing events, and more.

Discounts.

Order online or purchase at participating farmers’ markets and enjoy a 5% discount on all ciders.

How much does membership cost?

To receive each of the benefits above, including 3 artisanal New York Cider Company Ciders each quarter, your credit card will be charged $50 to $75 a quarter. (Tax and shipping not included.) Feel free to add to your shipment. If you up your order to 6 or more bottles, we’ll cover the shipping! And that’s on top of your Member Discounts!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR NEW YORK CIDER COMPANY SHIPMENTS AND FOR NEW YORK CIDER COMPANY CIDER CLUB:

  • Presently, we ship to: AK AZ CA CO DC FL GA HI IA ID IL IN KS LA MA MD ME MN MO NC ND NE NH NM NV NY OH OR PA SC TN TX VA WA WI WV WY, and, by special processing, AL. If you do not see the state to which you wish to ship, please ask us.

  • 21 years of age or older & in-person signature requirement: Deliveries require the signature of an adult 21 years of age or older. After 3 attempts at delivery, generally shipments will be held at UPS for five business days and then returned. (We do our best to ensure that packages are not returned by providing advance notice and tracking numbers for shipments.)

  • Returned packages: Customers and Club Members are responsible for shipping, return, and re-shipping costs for packages that are returned due to a failed delivery. 

  • Redirected shipments: We are happy to redirect your shipment. Once shipped, you will be responsible for any redirect and/or additional shipping costs, should they apply.

  • Tracking: Tracking numbers for shipments will be provided so that you will be aware of when packages are due and can arrange for an adult 21 years of age or older to be available to sign for the package. 

  • Legal restriction: Unfortunately, regulations restrict us from shipping alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. We will do our best to offer alternate delivery options for those on military bases with PO Boxes.

  • Taxes & limitations: Individual state regulations for taxes and limits do apply. 

  • Regulations for shipping hard cider vary by state: We comply with all regulations based on states’ individual shipping laws and limitations. Due to current state regulations, sadly, we cannot ship our cider to all states. 

  • Shipments are insured. Please notify the cidery if your shipment is damaged when you receive it or if it does not arrive.

  • Sold: Once the order is processed, the cider is considered “purchased,” even if returned. 

  • Heat & weather conditions: Due to weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, we may delay shipment to ensure the integrity of the cider. We will alert customers if the delay is more than a few days. We may contact customers to discuss other shipping arrangements, including delayed shipping.

  • Delivery & pickup options: We offer the convenience of shipping via UPS and, for Club Members, the option of picking up your cider at New York Cider Company, in Ithaca, NY, and at participating farmers’ markets in New York City and Ithaca.   • Return policy: We stand behind every cider we make, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order, and we will arrange for replacement (pending availability) or refund.

  • Membership releases: Membership releases can be picked up at New York Cider Company in Ithaca, NY, and at participating farmers’ markets in Ithaca and New York City. If you are not going to pick up your cider, please check the list above to make sure we ship to your state. (Similarly, if you are gifting a membership or shipment, please make sure we ship to the recipient’s state.)

  • Automatic deliveries: The Cider Club is an “automatic delivery program.” Payments for quarterly club shipments will be processed automatically before shipment. 

  • Limited productions: Based on our production, your quarterly shipment may be different from other Club Members’ shipments.

  • Member details: Current contact, billing, and shipping information must be provided. 

  • Club pickup orders: You understand and agree that your club release will be available for pickup for 3 weeks following release date. If it is not picked up, and other arrangements have not been made, the release will be shipped to your address on file. Shipping and applicable taxes will be applied to your payment card.

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to be a Club Member. By registering for Cider Club Membership you are confirming that you are 21 years of age or older. 

  • Membership term: Membership will be ongoing until we receive a request to terminate.

  • Minimum commitment: We request a one-year commitment, so you have the time to enjoy and experience all that we offer.

  • Leaving the program: You must notify the winery via email at nyciderco@gmail.com at least 30 days prior to shipping with any changes or cancellations. This time frame also applies to pickups.

  • Membership rules, terms, discounts, and prices are subject to change.
